This folder contains the principal developer documentation for OpenDoc for the Mac™ OS. The subfolders contain the following documents:
Class Reference
Contains the OpenDoc Class Reference, in two formats: (1) Adobe Acrobat™, indexed for full text search, and (2) QuickView™, which gives you hypertext access to the OpenDoc API descriptions in the same manner as Macintosh Programmer's Toolbox Assistant.
Programmer's Guide
Contains the OpenDoc Programmer's Guide, in Adobe Acrobat format, indexed for full text search.
Cookbook
Contains the OpenDoc Cookbook, in Acrobat format, indexed for full text search.
• To view the Acrobat documents on this CD, you must first install Acrobat Exchange LE.
For instructions, see “Installing Exchange LE” in the Acrobat Exchange LE folder within
the Utilities folder.
• To use the fast indexed text search with theClass Reference, Programmer’s Guide,
and Cookbook, see “Installing Exchange LE” in the Acrobat Exchange LE folder within
the Utilities folder.
• To view the QuickView version of the Class Reference, see “Installing and Using
QuickView” in the Class Ref (QuickView) folder within the Class Reference folder.
Human Interface
Contains the Drag and Drop Human Interface Guidelines, in Acrobat format. It presents interface-behavior guidelines for Macintosh drag and drop.
Also contains Human Interface Q & A, a collection of articles presenting answers to the most commonly asked questions about the OpenDoc user interface.
Tech Notes & Articles
Contains these folders with additional technical documentation:
